Although unsigned, a kind visitor to the website has advised this miniature portrait can be attributed to Domenico Bossi (1765-1853), an Italian artist who worked in many European cities. For more about Domenico Bossi, see the portrait in this collection by him of Baroness Neuwall.The sitter is Carl-Ludwig (1755-1801), Hereditary Prince of Baden. There is another version of this miniature by Bossi in the National Museum of Warsaw, Poland. 492
